Lymphedema

Lymphedema is an irregular increase of fluid that causes inflammation. It most often appears in arms or legs. Missing, impaired, injured or even removed lymph nodes and vessels cause the development of a lymphedema. Primary lymphedema is exceptional and is caused by the nonexistence of certain lymph vessels at birth. It can also be caused by abnormalities in the lymphatic vessels.
