Whiplash

The term whiplash, a neck injury that often occurs during car wracks, describes the movement of your head going quickly backward and forward.  These tremendous motions drive your neck muscles and ligaments past their common scope of movement. There are different stages of Whiplash injuries. Patients usually try to relief pain through over the counter medication or ice pads applied on the painful area. In case of persisting pain a prescription and physical therapy can be helpful.
