Wheezing

Wheeze or wheezing is a continuous whistling sound produced in the respiratory airways while breathing. When wheezes occur, some part of the respiratory tree has to be narrowed or obstructed, or airflow velocity in the respiratory tree must be higher. Wheezing is often experienced by persons with a lung disease.  Periodic wheezing often occurs from asthma attacks.
